Credit Earning ProgramNon-credit Earning Program
Participants enrolled in the credit-earning program will receive an official transcript along with a certificate of completion. Those undertaking credit-bearing programs are required to submit a final paper and deliver a group presentation as part of their academic assessment.Participants who opt out of the credit program will receive a certificate of completion, granted in accordance with the program's basic entry requirements. Non-credit program participants must fulfill the requirement of a final group presentation as part of their participation.

  • Australian students and being recommended by the International Office of home university or institution

  • Good understanding of English

  • A strong desire to explore new culture, meet new people and develop intercultural communication skills

  • Motivation letter (in English, 200 words)

  • Academic transcript

  • Recommendation letter

  • Scan of passport

  • Scan of student card

ABOUT EJx




 East Java Exploration (EJx) is a multidisciplinary program designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of East Java while addressing key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The initiative encompasses economic, social, and environmental dimensions, including education, poverty alleviation, gender equality, climate action, water resource management, and sustainable urban development. Through a structured program featuring cultural immersion, academic lectures, in-depth discussions, and direct engagement with individuals from diverse backgrounds, participants will gain valuable insights into the region. Additionally, the program fosters meaningful connections, enabling participants to build lasting relationships and establish networks that support future collaboration and knowledge exchange.
